Today I decided to share with you some titles by authors that I truly enjoy reading. These books have made me laugh, made me smile and made me cry. If you’re in the search of a romance book that will bring you joy, try one of these below.
The Locker Room by Meghan Quinn
While this is considered the first book in the #TowelBrigade , each book can be read as a stand alone. These books are hilarious but Quinn has a skill to bring me to tears at times. Her characters are funny, quirky and totally relatable!
I absolutely love Meghan Quinn’s books and this is why she has made it onto my list and I’ve read almost all of her books in 2020.
Beneath this Mask by Meghan March
Another amazingly talented author also named Meghan made it on this list! I love Meghan’s books and her own story – she is known for being an unapologetic romance reader (and writer too). Her books contain characters dealing with legitimate real-life issues and I think that’s how I feel in love with her books. I actually came across her books because I was looking for an audiobook that would capture my attention and found Take Me Back – one of her few standalone reads.
The core of her books have a suggested reading order as the characters cross over into other stories – so definitely check out her suggested reading order from her website.
The Bookworm’s Guide to Dating by Emma Hart
I came across Emma Hart’s books in a similar fashion to Meghan March’s. I was looking for an audiobook that helped me escape (particularly my cardio workouts) into a fun world.
Emma always has really amazing narrators for her audiobooks and I have read almost all of her books because of this. Her books are fun – the banter between the main characters is some of the best and most realistic writing I’ve come across (and maybe that’s because I’m biased with reading via audiobooks).
Emma also has amazing pink hair which was another win in my book!
The Right Swipe by Alisha Rai
Rhiannon Hunter may have revolutionized romance in the digital world, but in real life she only swipes right on her career—and the occasional hookup. The cynical dating app creator controls her love life with a few key rules:

Checkmate Duet by Kennedy Fox

Kennedy Fox is made up of the duo Brooke Cumberland & Lyra Parish. Their books will give you all of the feels. I started with reading the Checkmate duet and fell in love with the writing, the characters and the cliffhangers.
Travis King is the worst kind of a**hole.
He taunts me for being a good girl and mocks my high standards.
He’s cruel, crass, and has enough confidence to last two lifetimes.
And I hate him.
It wouldn’t matter so much if he were avoidable.
